A Salmon's Journey
Kitsap salmon have a special place in our landscape and culture – we marvel at their resilience as they return home after their long journey to spawn in our small streams. Learn from local experts, watch them spawn, volunteer to teach others, or raise salmon in your classroom:
Late October and November are peak salmon viewing in Kitsap. Baby salmon hatch in March and can be seen in the streams throughout the spring and summer.
